Why is Villanova Athletics moving to digital ticketing?
Digital Ticketing will provide a safe fan experience with quick and convenient entry on gameday. Digital ticketing will also reduce the risk of lost, stolen, or counterfeit tickets while providing the ability to easily manage, transfer, or sell your tickets at any time.
Once tickets are available, how do I access them?
You will be able to manage your tickets through the Villanova Athletics mobile app or online at Villanova.com/MyAccount. First, search "Villanova Athletics" in your app store to locate and download the app. Upon downloading the app fans will see an initial login screen to set preferences to receive push notifications for sports of your choice. This initial login screen is not tied to your Villanova Athletic Ticket Office account. Once notification preference have been saved, fans can log in to manage their tickets by clicking Tickets in the bottom right-hand corner and logging in using their email address/account number and password tied to their Villanova Athletic Ticket Office account.
Will digital ticketing be used of all ticketed sports?
Yes, digital ticketing will be used for all sports.
How do I ensure that I can access my tickets on gameday via my smartphone?
We HIGHLY recommend that you add all your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay Wallet prior to gameday. This will prevent you from having to deal with connectivity issues at the gate as the tickets will be stored in your digital wallet.
Can I print out the QR code or mobile and use for admission?
No. Digital tickets must be scanned off a smartphone for entry.
What if my smartphone dies on gameday?
Please visit our ticket offices at the venue and present a valid form of photo ID that matches the name associated with the account. We recommend fully charging your smartphone before you arrive.
Can I have multiple tickets on my smartphone for entry?
Yes, if your group is entering the venue together, you can have all your tickets on your smartphone. You will simply swipe to pull up the tickets individually and scan.
What if I have a large number of tickets and I want to issue them to my guest(s) ahead of gameday?
A benefit of digital ticketing is the ability to manage your tickets online and transfer them to your guests electronically. You have the flexibility to transfer specific seat locations to one game or across multiple games. The recipient will receive a text or email with a link to accept and download their tickets.
Can I easily transfer my tickets?
Yes, you can quickly transfer digital tickets to other fans. To transfer, simply:
- Sign in to your Villanova Athletic Ticket account within the Villanova Athletics mobile app or online at Villanova.com/MyAccount
- Select the event and specific seat locations you would like to transfer
- Enter either the mobile phone number or email address of the recipient
- You will be sent a confirmation once the transfer is completed
Can I still transfer my tickets once I've added them to my digital wallet?
Yes, you can still transfer your tickets via the Villanova Athletics mobile app or online at Villanova.com/MyAccount page. The ticket in your wallet will be voided once transferred. You will notice the "Hold Near Reader" message will no longer appear on the ticket.
How do I accept a transfer?
- You will receive a text message or email with a link to accept the transfer.
- Login to your existing Villanova Athletics Ticket Office account, or create a new account.
- You will then be able to accept the transfer and add the tickets to your digital wallet.

How will this affect student ticket delivery?
Student tickets will still be accessed through the Villanova Student Ticket App. Download the App, log in using your student log in to get your Access Pass so you can scan and go for entry on gameday. Men's Basketball game tickets will still be award via student ticket lottery and student access passes will not work if they do not enter and win the lottery for Men's Basketball games. All students are welcome to attend Football, Women's Basketball, Men's Lacrosse and Bonus Lottery games for non ticketed sports.
