VILLANOVA: Veteran performer who will bring leadership to the Villanova defense…Brings consistency and effort to the defensive line…Expected to be a starter at defensive tackle.Â
2024: Started all 14 games and tallied 44 tackles, two tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble…Recorded a career-high six tackles on two occasions versus Maryland and Delaware…Posted a sack and a tackle for loss versus Youngstown State…Credited with four total tackles at Monmouth.Â
2023: Played in 13 games and had 21 tackles, four tackles for loss and a sack…Registered four tackles to go with a tackle for loss at Lehigh…Credited with three total stops against Colgate…Had a half sack versus Lehigh, New Hampshire and Youngstown State…Made two tackles against Albany, Stony Brook, Delaware and South Dakota State.
2022: Played in nine games and had seven tackles and one quarterback hurry…Registered two solo stops at Maine…Credited with two assisted stops at LIU…Made one solo tackle against Army, Albany and William & Mary.
2021: Played in three games on the year and made two tackles;
Bucknell (9/11): Had one solo stop and one assisted tackle in the Wildcats season opener.

2020 (Spring 2021): Earned playing time in the game at Maine and had a tackle;
Maine (4/3): Made his collegiate debut in the game and was credited with a solo tackle in the Wildcats win.

Bishop Lynch High School: Earned a total of six varsity letters during his scholastic career, including four in football and one each in basketball and track & field … As a senior totaled 68 tackles, including 19.5 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks … Tallied two forced fumbles … Had single game career highs of six tackles for loss and four sacks … Also played on offense as a fullback and recorded nine carries for 65 yards and eight touchdowns … Earned first team all-state and all-district honors as a senior … Winner of his team’s Iron Man Award and was the Defensive Player of the Year as a senior … Two-time all-district honorable mention and two-year team captain.

Personal: Born 6/30/02 in Dallas, Texas … One of three children of Mark Howard and Tracey Banks … Has two siblings, Gabrielle (27) and Sean (23) … Has an uncle, Stephen Howard, who played college basketball at DePaul and in the NBA for the Utah Jazz and Seattle Supersonics … Another uncle, Chris Hudson, played college football at Colorado and was a defensive back in the NFL … Enjoys playing golf and basketball in his spare time … Chose to attend Villanova because it felt like home the first time he visited … Plans to major in Political Science.
