Chris Miller

Chris Miller returns to the Villanova sidelines for his eighth season as an assistant coach on Mike Corrado’s staff for the 2024-25 season. Miller serves as the defensive coordinator, joining the VU staff for the 2017-18 campaign.

Miller has led several players to individual accolades since being appointed assistant coach with Stephen Zupicich being named a USILA Second Team All-American in 2024 and Chet Comizio earning First Team All-American Honors for Inside Lacrosse. The Wildcats have also had multiple defensemen earn BIG EAST honors over Miller’s previous four seasons.

During his first season the Wildcats made the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history, receiving an at-large bid.

"I am very grateful for the opportunity to join the Villanova University community and Men's Lacrosse program," shared Miller upon his hire. "I think Villanova University is the perfect balance of academics, athletics, and faith. I am excited to recruit, mentor, and develop high caliber student-athletes from all over the country."

Prior to Villanova, Miller served as the assistant coach at the University of Vermont where he was the offensive coordinator.  During his year at UVM, the Catamounts were ninth in shot percentage in the NCAA.  Also Miller served as the recruiting coordinator helping add 18 to Vermont’s Class of 2021.

Miller spent five years at Washington College as the Associate Head Coach where he helped the Shoreman win the 2014 Centennial Conference Championship.  As the offensive coordinator he helped with recruiting, scouting, film breakdown, and was also the assistant coach for professional development for the athletic department.

Miller also served as an assistant coach at Sacred Heart, Washington & Lee, Virginia Military Institute, and his alma mater, Wesley College.

A three-time All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference first-team selection, Miller scored 144 career points at Wesley.  He was named to the All-ECAC South second team in 2003 and his team's offensive Most Valuable Player in 2004. As a senior, he served as a team captain.  In 2017, Miller was inducted into the Wesley College Athletics Hall of Fame.
