On Fargione: Played in 13 games in net in his true freshman season, becoming the fourth freshman since the Wildcats joined the BIG EAST in 2010 to win seven games… Two-time All-County selection as a goalie and two-time New York Lacrosse State Champion at Garden City High School.

2025: Appeared in 13 games, starting 12 for the Wildcats in goal… Saved 119 shots to the tune of a .478% save percentage… Posted a 10.96 GAA and allowed less than 10 goals in five contests… Earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week three times, becoming the first in program history to do so… Did not allow more than 10 goals in four consecutive games from March 17 to April 12… Made 19 saves against Brown on a career high 47 shots faced in the Wildcats victory… His 19 save performance ranks tied for fifth in a single game in team history… Totaled five games with double-digit saves… Saved 12 shots in the Wildcats win over Providence in the BIG EAST Semifinal where he held the Friars scoreless in the third quarter while VU went on a 7-0 run… Picked up 30 ground balls and caused four turnovers on the year.

Garden City: Earned eight varsity letters between lacrosse, football, and basketball... Two-time All-County selection as a goalie... Two-time New York Lacrosse State Champion... 2023 County Championship MVP... New York All-State Kicker 2022... 68% career save percentage in the net...  Named a 2023-24 Academic All-American... National Honor Society

Club Lacrosse: Played for LI Express Schwalje from 2017-2023... Racked up a 75% save percentage.

Personal: Born January 9, 2006... One of four children to Michael and Tara Fargione... Father, Michael, played lacrosse at Ohio State... Chose Villanova for "prestigious academics and the opportunity to compete for a National Championship..." Hobbies include golfing, fishing, and stringing lacrosse sticks... Plans to major in Economics with a minor in Education.
