On Cerza: Has played in nine career games for the Wildcats and has two shots, including one shot on goal … During his career has been named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team four times and to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll seven times.

2024: Played in one game in a win at Marquette.
 
2023: Appeared in four games for the Wildcats with all four games resulting in wins.
 
2022: Made his only appearance of the season in a win at St. John’s and recorded a shot on goal in that contest.
 
2021: Appeared in three games during the season … Attempted a shot against Marquette.
 
Delbarton School: Earned three varsity letters in lacrosse … His career statistics included 36 goals, 10 assists and 46 points … Second team all-state pick as a senior … Ranked 80^th in the Inside Lacrosse Top 100 ranking … Earned NJAC All-State honorable mention honors … During his junior year helped lead Delbarton to a Non-Public A title and garnered All-Non Public accolades with 29 goals and nine assists … As a sophomore Delbarton won the Tournament of Champions title and was the Morris Country and Non-Public A champion … High school teammate of future Villanova teammates Chet Comizio and Matt Campbell … Achieved High Honor Roll status as a senior and was named to the Honor Roll two other years … Served as a student ambassador and junior dean.

Personal: Born 9/10/01 … Older of two sons of John and Danielle Cerza … Has a younger brother, Kellan … Father played college football at Columbia and mother played college tennis at Skidmore …Hobbies include hanging out with friends and spending time at the Jersey shore … Chose to attend Villanova because of the amazing things he heard about the school’s academic and athletic programs.
