On Colwell: Through his first collegiate career played in 48 games with 43 starts on defense… Career totals include 90 ground balls, 48 caused turnovers and two assists… Came into his own by starting every game he played in his last three seasons… An All-BIG EAST First Team selection in 2023 and All-BIG EAST Second Team selection in 2024... Academically has been a four-time selection to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and seven-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2022: Started all 14 games he appeared in during the season … Ranked fourth on the team in both ground balls and caused turnovers … His totals for the year included 27 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and two assists … Recorded three or more ground balls in a game five times, including a career-high six pickups in a win over Fairfield … Had two caused turnovers versus both Yale and Drexel … Tallied assists against Providence during the regular season and against Denver in the semifinal round of the BIG EAST Championship.
