Career: Major contributor to each of the first two BIG EAST titles in program history during her junior and senior seasons … Pitched for Villanova from 2019-22 and was at her best against conference opponents … Including the regular season and the BIG EAST Championship made 29 career appearances against conference foes and was 12-5 with a 2.95 ERA, five complete games and one shutout in those outings … When she graduated at the end of the 2022 season she was tied for eighth in school history with 39 career relief appearances … Also ranked 19th in games started (42) and 20th in total appearances (81) … Owned a career record of 23-19 with a 3.94 ERA spanning 272.0 innings pitched … Allowed 329 hits and 19w runs (153 earned) with 88 walks and 142 strikeouts … Compiled an 11-2 record as a freshman in 2019 and pitched a complete game against St. John’s in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship to lift Villanova into the championship game … Won six games in both her junior and senior campaigns … Recorded the final six outs of the Wildcats second straight conference championship as a senior … Groundball specialist in the circle and did an effective job of controlling the running game … Held opposing runners to a 69.8 percent rate trying to steal bases which is the sixth-best mark in school history … Excellent fielder who committed just one error in 109 career fielding chances (nine putouts, 99 assists) and had a .991 fielding percentage … Two-time Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete … Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team all four years of her career and was a seven-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll … Villanova was 139-100-2 (.581) during her career and won the first two BIG EAST titles in program history (2021, 2022) … Part of Wildcats teams which recorded the program’s highest winning percentage in conference play in a single season (.882, 15-2, 2021) and the most conference wins in a single season in the Villanova record book (16, 2022).
 
2022: Pitched in 25 games with 14 starts and 11 relief appearances … Tallied a 6-7 record with three saves and a 3.10 ERA spanning 90 1/3 innings … Had two complete games … Allowed 99 hits and 59 runs (40 earned) while issuing 33 walks and striking out 48 batters … Recorded the final six outs of the BIG EAST Championship title game and got the save in a 3-0 victory as Villanova won its second straight conference crown … Pitched four innings in two relief appearances in the Orlando Regional of the NCAA Tournament … During the regular season appeared in 10 conference games (eight starts, two complete games) and went 5-3 while leading the pitching staff with a 1.70 ERA … Gave up 52 hits but just 12 earned runs in 49 1/3 innings … In a stretch of six starts versus BIG EAST foes from March 26 through April 30 gave up just four earned runs spanning 30.0 innings pitched … Had a 3-1 record with a 0.93 ERA in those six appearances … Pitched 6 1/3 scoreless innings in a 1-0 win at Providence as the Wildcats recorded a three-game sweep without allowing a single run in the series … Logged a season-high seven innings against Seton Hall and did not give up an earned run in a game that Villanova eventually won in eight innings … Gave up just an unearned run on five hits and had a season-high six strikeouts in a 9-1 win over St. John’s … Recorded saves against East Carolina and Maryland during the regular season … Eight of her 11 relief appearances were for two innings or longer … Fielded her position well with four putouts, 29 assists and no errors in 33 chances.
 
2021: Appeared in 18 games with 11 starts during the year … Compiled a 6-5 record with a 4.20 ERA over 63 1/3 innings pitched … Did her best pitching against BIG EAST opponents, making four regular season appearances in conference games and going 3-0 with a 1.91 ERA and a .193 batting average against her in 14 2/3 innings pitched … Overall for the year allowed 70 hits and 46 runs (38 earned) while walking 19 and striking out 39 … Earned her first win of the season against Saint Joseph’s on March 10 when she logged six scoreless innings of one-hit ball with a career-high nine strikeouts in a 5-0 victory … Won three straight starts against Hofstra, Towson and Butler from March 13-20 … The game against Butler came during the opening weekend of conference play and she pitched a complete-game five-hitter with six strikeouts in a 4-1 victory … Registered six of more strikeouts in a start on four occasions … Made relief appearances against Connecticut and Butler in the BIG EAST Championship and appeared twice against Ole Miss, including one start, during the NCAA Tournament … Scored two runs as a pinch runner against Hofstra and Saint Joseph’s during the season … Had a .969 fielding percentage with one putout, 30 assists and one error in 32 total chances.
 
2020: Made nine appearances with three starts on the season, going 0-5 with a 5.68 ERA in 24 2/3 innings … Started and pitched a season-high five scoreless innings while striking out three against Jacksonville in her second outing of the season … Worked a season-high four relief innings and allowed two earned runs while striking out two against UCF … Her other starts after the Jacksonville game were against Iowa State and No. 22 Arkansas.
 
2019: Enjoyed a strong season as the Wildcats number two pitcher as a freshman, going 11-2 with two saves and 4.11 ERA in 93 2/3 innings pitched … Made 29 total appearances, including 14 starts and 15 relief outings … Allowed 118 hits and 66 runs (55 earned) while walking 26 and striking out 47 … Tossed a complete game and had a season-high six strikeouts in a 6-4 win over St. John’s in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship and was named to the All-Tournament Team for that performance … Pitched a three-hit shutout in a 4-0 win over Providence on April 6, then started against the Friars again the next day and fired four scoreless innings with just one hit allowed in a 6-0 win … Named the BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week on April 15 after those two performances … Won her final six decisions of the season from April 17 through the end of the year … Worked three scoreless innings of relief in a 5-2 win over Eastern Illinois for a save … Also saved the 3-2 win over Saint Joseph’s.
 
Club Softball: Played for the Newtown Rock Gold 18U team for three years which had a competitive tournament schedule which included playing in the Pennsbury, Team NJ, IDT Boulder, Atlanta Legacy and Triple Crowne events as well as traveling to PGF Nationals in California.
 
Newtown High School: Earned four varsity letters in softball and was a four-year starter … Two-time all-state selection as a sophomore and a senior … Earned Southwest Conference All-Conference Team honors as a sophomore and was a Southwest Conference All-Colonial Division selection as a freshman … Helped lead her team to conference titles as a freshman and a sophomore … Led the varsity team with a .511 batting average and 46 hits as a freshman … Winner of the Outstanding Athletic Achievement Award for unified basketball … Named to the Varsity Softball All-Conference Academic Team as a sophomore and was a three-year member of the National Honor Society from her sophomore through senior years … Winner of the Western Studies Academic Achievement Award as a freshman.
 
Personal: Born 10/8/00 in Newtown, Conn. … Youngest of three daughters of Dan and Jen Kennedy … Has two older sisters, Ali and Maggie … Volunteered her time and was president of Best Buddies, a high school club and international organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by promoting friendship, job opportunities, leadership and integration … Chose to attend Villanova because it provided the opportunity to play the sport she loves at the highest level while receiving an education from a renowned university … Cognitive & Behavioral Neuroscience major and Business minor.
