On Sandoval: Transferred to Villanova as a graduate student who immediately bolstered the Wildcats faceoff unit… Was named a USA Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention… Won 114 of 185 of his faceoffs taken… Finished with a .616%-win percentage, ranking second in career win rate… Concluded his career 10th among all active faceoff specialists with 421 wins in 51 games.
2025: Went 114/185 (.616%) on the year and picked up 42 ground balls in his season on the Main Line earning a USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention nod… His .616% winning percentage is the seventh best season in Wildcat history and ranked ninth amongst all faceoff specialists in the nation in 2025… Went 14-18 (.778) against Colgate, earning him BIG EAST Specialist of the Week… Won 11 of 16 attempts at Penn… (.688%)… Matched his personal best of an .813% winning percentage from Princeton when he fared 13-16 in the circle in an overtime win against Denver, including a win to gain possession on the game winner, earning another conference nod for Specialist of the Week… Picked up six ground balls against Colgate, Denver, and Marquette… Won 11 of 18 tries at the center “X” in the BIG EAST Semifinal against Providence… Was 4/5 (.800%) in attempts within one goal with two minutes or less remaining in regulation.
