Career: Four-year member of the team who posted career winning records in both singles and doubles action … Had a mark of 6-5 in singles and 13-9 in doubles during his career … His career highlights include five straight singles wins during the 2019 Fall season and a 9-1 mark in doubles competition that year … Four-time selection to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and seven-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
 
2021-22: Played in tournaments during the year and posted records of 1-4 in singles and 2-5 in doubles … Both of his doubles wins came when paired with Will Gatti … The pair won a match in the White draw at the Villanova Invitational as well as in the Flight 2 bracket at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational … He posted a singles victory over an opponent from Loyola (Md.) in the first round of Villanova’s home tournament.
 
2020-21: In his only competition of the season teamed with senior Daniel Martinez in a No. 3 doubles match in the season opener against Delaware, where the pair was defeated in a 6-2 decision.
 
2019-20: Played exclusively during the fall, going 5-1 in singles action and 9-1 in doubles play … Opened the season with five consecutive victories in singles competition … He and Daniel Martinez tallied a first place finish in the Bryn Mawr draw at the Villanova Invitational, where he won all of his singles matches against opponents from Rider, Loyola (Md.) and Saint Joseph’s … Also reached the third round of the Flight 4 singles bracket at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational … He and Martinez won their matches by scores of 6-2, 6-2 and 6-1 at the Villanova Invitational … They defeated opponents from Connecticut and Quinnipiac at the Brown Invite, split a pair of matches at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational and tallied wins over La Salle, Drexel and Monmouth at the Villanova Classic.
 
2018-19: Compiled a 2-2 record in doubles competition as a freshman … Teamed with Matthew Jones to win matches against Wilkes and Rider at the No. 3 doubles position in dual matches … He and Danny Nomura went 0-2 at the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship during the team’s Spring Break trip to California.
 
Club Tennis: Played for the Kansas City United Tennis Academy from 2012-18.
 
Rockhurst High School: Earned four varsity letters in tennis and played at the No. 1 singles position for three years of his scholastic career … Won a state doubles title and garnered all-state honors in 2016 … Helped lead his team to a Missouri state title in 2015 … Achieved Honors status academically all four years … Inducted to the National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Born 10/17/99 in Merriam, Kan. … Older of two children of Don and Kate Klumb … Has a younger sister, Jordan … Chose to attend Villanova because for the opportunity to develop his faith and his ability to serve others while receiving an excellent education and playing for a strong Division I tennis program … Economics major in the College of Arts and Sciences.
