Career: Through his career posted a 36-32 record in singles matches and a 22-25 mark in doubles competition…Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete for the 2021-22 and 2023-24 academic year … Four-time selection of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team and eight-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. 
 
2023-24: Capped off his career with a stellar senior season... Finished with overall records of 13-12 in singles matches and 12-12 in doubles play... Led the team in wins in both singles and doubles competition... Was unbeaten at 3-0 in sixth singles... Had a 7-6 doubles record when paired with fellow senior Noah Winton... Recorded separate three match winning streaks... Played all doubles matches from the third spot... ITA Scholar Athlete... Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team for the year and Athletic Director's Honor Roll in both semesters.

2022-23: Finished the season 6-6 in singles play … Five of his singles wins came as the third singles member of the Villanova lineup … Lost both doubles matches in which he appeared during his junior campaign... Named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team for the year and Athletic Director's Honor Roll in both semesters.

2021-22: Played in each of the Fall tournaments and in the first dual match of the Spring season … Tallied identical winning records of 7-6 in both singles and doubles matches … Won his flight at the River City Tennis Open in Richmond, Va. with three straight victories, the first of which came in a third-set tiebreaker over an opponent from James Madison … Split two matches at the ITA Atlantic Regional, including a Round of 128 win in straight sets over an opponent from Mount St. Mary’s … Teamed with fellow sophomore Josh Robinson for a fifth place finish out of 16 teams in the Blue draw at the Villanova Invitational … He delivered singles wins over players from Loyola (Md.) and Saint Joseph’s during the competition, while he and Robinson won three of their four doubles matches in the tournament … In the Spring opener against Jefferson he and Trey Fourticq posted a win in a No. 2 doubles match.
 
2020-21: Tied for the team lead with 10 singles victories during his freshman year … Tallied a record of 10-8 (.556) in singles and 3-5 in doubles … Nine of his 10 singles wins came in the No. 3 spot of the lineup, where he was 9-8 overall … Also won his first match of the season at No. 4 singles … Recorded two separate four-match winning streaks … The first streak came in the first four singles matches of his collegiate career against George Mason, Lafayette, Coppin State and La Salle … The second streak featured consecutive triumphs over NJIT, Millersville, Georgetown and Loyola (Md.) … His other wins came against Mount St. Mary’s and Saint Joseph’s … The victory in the Mount St. Mary’s match notched the Wildcats first point of the day and helped Villanova rally for a 4-3 team win in the match … His record in doubles matches included one win in each of the three spots in the lineup … Teamed with sophomore Alex Kim for a win at No. 1 doubles against Coppin State … Posted a No. 2 doubles win over La Salle while teamed with fellow freshman Anthony Prokurat and was a winner at No. 3 doubles along with Noah Winton against Loyola (Md.).
 
Marlboro High School: Earned two varsity letters in tennis and played in the top singles position … Two-time Shore Conference champion in 2017 and 2019 … Named the top tennis player in the Shore Conference by the Asbury Park Press each of the years he won the league title … Two-time winner of the Freehold Regional High School District Award of Excellence for High School Tennis in 2017 and 2019 … Compiled a record of 22-2 during the 2017 season … Accepted into his school’s Business Administration Magnet Program … Named to the Academic Honor Roll.
 
Personal: Born 7/2/02 in Brooklyn, N.Y. … One of three children of Pavel and Ilana Khromchenko … Siblings are Keren (24) and Ronit (15) … Sister, Keren, played college tennis at Brandeis from 2015-19 and was a team captain as a senior … Enjoys working out and playing video games in his spare time … Has an interest in the stock market and investing … Chose to attend Villanova for the great tennis program, the other student-athletes on the team and the prestige of the Villanova School of Business … Enrolled in the Villanova School of Business and plans to major in Finance.
