Career: Carved out a critical role on the Wildcat pitching staff as a shutdown reliever in the middle and late innings … Villanova's all-time leader in saves (17), games finished (81) and relief appearances (95) … Named as the 2024 BIG EAST Championship Most Outstanding Player after three lockdown appearances to deliver VU's third conference title of her career … Selected to the All-Tournament Team as a junior after throwing 12.2 innings with nine strikeouts and just three runs allowed … Has given up just four home runs to 951 batters faced … Named an Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete and earned a spot on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team in each of her years at Villanova … Member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in all semesters of her collegiate career.

2024: Set new Villanova single season records in saves, games finished and relief appearances after pitching in over 60% of VU's games as a senior … Compiled a 7-6 record with 10 saves during her final season as a Wildcat … Led the Villanova pitching staff with a 1.92 ERA, surrendering only 25 runs in 91 total innings … Only season of her Wildcat career without allowing a home run … Struck out 57 while only walking 10 despite 393 batters faced … Held opposition to a .270 batting average against … Started four games in the non-conference with a six-strikeout day against Alabama before a seven-inning victory at Georgia Tech … Recorded a win and two saves at the BIG EAST Championship after six shutdown innings with no runs surrendered … Pitched in all four games at the NCAA Regional with just one run given up and five total strikeouts.

2023: Appeared in 54.2% of Villanova's games during her junior season, making 32 relief appearances to set a new VU single season record … Finished a program-best 27 games in her third season on the Main Line … Totaled a perfect 6-0 record with five saves in 61 innings pitched .. Compiled a 1.72 ERA and a .248 batting average against … Struck out 40 and walked 23 while facing 266 total batters … Allowed 59 hits and just 15 earned runs with eight extra-base hits against her … Made one putout and 11 assists with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in the field … Picked up her first save of the year by getting an out to close out a win over Dayton on Feb. 17 … Struck out two against top-25 team Auburn later that day … Allowed just two baserunners in three innings of work against Stanford … Did not allow an earned run in 12 appearances from Feb. 24 to Apr. 8 … Earned her first win after pitching 5.2 innings and striking out five across two appearances during a doubleheader sweep at Delaware on March 26 … Picked up a win and save during five innings pitched at Butler …Also drove in a run in two at bats with a groundout to score an insurance run against Butler … Struck out three in both appearances against Princeton on Apr. 25 … Earned the win in the regular season finale after throwing four innings vs. Providence … Named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team after pitching in every game of the BIG EAST Championship … Threw three scoreless innings in conference quarterfinals with just two hits allowed … Struck out four in 2.2 frames to earn the win against DePaul … Tossed two stanzas to close the door on UConn and send Villanova to the BIG EAST title game … Brought on in the third inning of the BIG EAST Championship to throw a season-high five innings.

2022: Valuable member of the pitching staff who demonstrated her ability to be a spot starter, a closer and a successful long reliever at various points during the year … Made 20 appearances, including three starts and 17 relief outings … Posted a 3-3 record with two saves and a 1.45 ERA spanning 48 1/3 innings … Allowed 47 hits and held opponents to a .255 batting average against her … Gave up just two home runs to 207 batters faced … Did not allow an unearned run in 14 of her 20 appearances … Nine of her 17 relief outings were for two innings or longer, including a long relief outing of five innings against Drexel in which she allowed just a run on three hits to earn the win in a 6-4 victory … Made the first start of her collegiate career at No. 4 Florida and pitched a complete game while scattering just two earned runs over six innings in a 4-0 setback … Started and pitched five scoreless innings to earn her first win of the season against Saint Joseph’s … Pitched a scoreless eighth inning in a win over Seton Hall … Earned saves in BIG EAST games against Georgetown and Providence … Logged seven appearances overall during the BIG EAST regular season and was 1-1 with two saves, a 2.92 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 12.0 innings pitched … Worked 3 2/3 innings of relief at Connecticut in the series opener on the final weekend of the regular season and had a career-high five strikeouts … Pitched a scoreless inning against South Dakota State in the Orlando Regional of the NCAA Tournament.
 
2021: Had a successful collegiate rookie season pitching exclusively out of the bullpen … Made 13 appearances and went 3-1 with a 1.88 ERA spanning 18 2/3 innings … Allowed 22 hits and seven runs (five earned) while walking six and striking out nine … Gave up just one home run to 85 batters faced … Did not allow an earned run in 10 of her 13 appearances … Earned wins in three of her final six outings of the season … That included the final day of the regular season against Connecticut when she pitched four scoreless innings with no walks and three strikeouts … Gave up three hits while recording season highs in innings and strikeouts … Entered that game with a runner on second in the fourth inning and the Huskies leading 6-4 … Pitched the rest of the game and Villanova eventually rallied for a 9-7 victory which finished off a three-game sweep and clinched the #2 seed in the BIG EAST Championship … In the first game of a doubleheader against Drexel on April 14 pitched a scoreless inning with two strikeouts to notch her first collegiate victory … Logged three innings at St. John’s while scattering an earned run on four hits to pick up a win in the second game of a doubleheader … Made her collegiate debut against Notre Dame on February 27 and worked a scoreless inning of relief … Pitched two or more innings in four of her appearances … Closed out a 7-1 win over Saint Joseph’s on March 27 with two scoreless innings.
 
Club Softball: Played club softball for seven years, including three with the Valley Forge Patriots 18u Gold team … Helped her team post a winning record in all three of those seasons while appearing in over 150 games.
 
Methacton High School: Earned four varsity letters in both softball and basketball … Earned second team Pioneer Athletic Conference honors as both a sophomore and a junior … Named the BSN Sports Student-Athlete of the Month during her sophomore season … Winner of the Four-Year Varsity Athlete Award … As a senior was the winner of the Greg Rowels Memorial Scholarship & Award … As a junior won the University of Rochester Bausch and Lomb Award and the Wellesley Book Award … Comes from the same high school athletics program which produced Villanova baseball infielder Pat O’Neill.
 
Personal: Born 7/25/01 in Eagleville, Pa. … Youngest of three children of Greg and Anne Pellicano … Has two older siblings, Greg and Ryan … Has an aunt, Carol Pellicano, who played softball and basketball at Drexel … Hobbies include going to the beach and spending time with family and friends … Enjoys staying active and walking her dog … Chose to attend Villanova for the balance between its academic and athletic programs … Wanted to be challenged in her academic and athletic pursuits and felt Villanova would give her the opportunities to succeed … Noted that she felt at home while visiting campus and loved the family atmosphere she felt from the members of the team and the coaching staff … Biology major.
