Originally pledged to attend Maryland before committing to Villanova after head coach Kevin Willard was hired at the BIG EAST school in March 2025 … Prior to committing to the Terrapins also considered Butler, Texas A&M and Mississippi State … Spent the 2024-25 campaign at Mt. Zion Prep in Lanham, Md. … Saw his prominence rise after thriving in the Elite Youth Basketball system, averaging 14 points, five assists and five rebounds per game there.
 
Kevin Willard: “Chris is a point guard who plays both ends of the floor. He brings a physical presence and strength to the backcourt. Offensively, Chris scores the ball at all levels – strong and quick enough to get by the defender to score at the basket, pull up, draw a foul or to distribute to his teammates. At the defensive end he is a pest on the ball in both full court and half court settings.”
