High School: Kern earned four varsity letters competing for Charlotte Catholic High School. She was a NISCA All-American in both the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons, as well aNCHSAA 6A State Champion in the 50 Free in 2026, winning the NCHSAA 6A Farm Bureau Sportsmanship Award that same year. She was Southwestern 4A All Conference in 2023-24 and 2024-25, winning three straight Conference Championhsip in the 100 Breast with meet record from 2023-2025. Academically, she was First Honors and the Class of 2026 Fall/Winter Scholar-Athlete for all four years, as well as a member of National Honor Society. She also won the 2025-26 Cougar Award for Academic Excellence, as well as the 2026 Departmental Award for Environmental Science.
Personal: Born 10/18/2007… Daughter of Nicole and Bryan and has sister named Elizabeth… Bryan (father) played both football and baseball at Davidson College… Chose to attend Villanova because of the tight knit community of students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as the passion they display towards the school… Declared a major in business.
