As of the end of the 2024 outdoor season ranks eighth on the Wildcats all-time performance list in the 10000 meters ... Her personal best time of 34:43.53 came at the 2024 Penn Relays and was good for a 15th place championship finish ... Competed at six BIG EAST Championships during her collegiate career, including three conference cross country meets and three track championships (two outdoor, one indoor) ... Recorded personal best marks at every distance from the 1500 meters through the 10000 meters while racing in a Villanova singlet ... Three of her PRs -- in the 3000 meters (10:01.04), the 5000 meters (17:07.82) and the 10000 meters -- came in the span of just over a month to close out the 2024 outdoor season ... Ran in the Villanova lineup at the 2021 NCAA Championships in cross country ... Three-time member of the BIG EAST All-Academic Team ... Oakwood High School: Earned a total of eight varsity letters during her scholastic career, including four each in cross country and outdoor track & field … Tallied three consecutive top-10 finishes at the Ohio DII state cross country meet from 2017-19 and was a four-time first team All-Ohio performer in cross country … Also earned first team All-Ohio accolades in outdoor track & field as a sophomore in 2018 … Garnered all-league and all-region recognition all four years … Was a team captain as a senior … Named her team’s MVP in 2017 and was the winner of the Coach’s Award in 2018 … Helped lead the cross country team to its highest finish at the state meet in school history (fifth) as a senior in 2019 … Came in third in the state in the 3200 meters outdoors in 2019 and was part of a 4x800 meter relay team which placed fifth at the state meet the same year … Her team finished as the runner-up at the 2018 and 2019 outdoor state meets … Team also was a district champion (2017, 2019) and the Southwestern Ohio regional runner-up (2018) … Recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Award every year and was named to the Academic All-Ohio team for cross country and track each year from 2017-19 … Chosen as the best all-around female in her class as both a junior and a senior for her combined athletic and academic successes … Winner of a National Merit Scholarship and will be a Presidential Scholar at Villanova … Three-year class president and a four-time Outstanding Student Council Member … Winner of the Principal’s Leadership Award (2020), the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Award (2018) and was an AP Scholar with Distinction (2019) … President of the US International Club (2019-20) … Winner of the Youth Catholic Leadership Award (2018) … Inducted to the National Honor Society … Achieved Honor Roll status academically all four years.
 
Personal: Born 9/14/01 in Dayton, Ohio … Youngest of three daughters of Jim and Ellen Vaughn … Has two older sisters, Mary Kate (26) and Bridget (24) … Mother played college tennis at Saint Mary’s College … Sister, Mary Kate, was a member of the track & field and cross country teams at Boston College … Hobbies include spending time outdoors, baking and playing games with friends and family … Chose to attend Villanova for the combination of its elite academic and athletic reputations … Noted that she felt she was joining a lifetime community after observing the love that current students and alumni had for the school … Plans to major in Finance.
