2020: Competed in the team lineup at the BIG EAST Championships;
BIG EAST Championships (3/5): Came in fifth in the Villanova lineup and 47th overall at the conference meet with a time of 22:21.8 on the 6000 meter course.
2019: Main Line Invitational (9/20): Competed in the first meet of the season and recorded an eighth place overall finish ... Recorded a time of 17:42.9 over three miles on the Alumni Course at Haverford.
2015: Competed at five meets during the season and was one of the team's five scorers at the Princeton Interregional Meet;
Big 5 Invitational (9/11): Made her collegiate debut at the season-opening meet in Philadelphia, where she ran the 4000 meter Belmont Plateau course in 14:39.6 ... Finished in 15th place at the meet;
Main Line Invitational (9/18): Recorded a time of 17:37 over three miles and finished 17th out of 75 runners on the course at Haverford College;
Princeton Interregional Meet (10/3): Tallied a 42nd place overall finish and was the fifth Villanova finisher with a time of 21:59.7 over 6000 meters;
Pre-NCAA Meet (10/17): Posted a time of 21:52.8 and placed 222nd overall;
BIG EAST Championships (10/31): Her time of 21:18.2 over 6000 meters was a season best ... Placed 40th overall at the conference meet.
2019: Competed four times in the 800 meters during the season;
Wesley A. Brown Invitational (1/12): Competed in her first collegiate meet in nearly three years and came in sixth in the 800 meters with a season-best time of 2:18.17;
Dr. Sander Invitational/Columbia Challenge (1/26): Recorded a time of 2:20.59 in the 800 meters;
Villanova Invitational (2/2): Posted a time of 2:19.31 and finished 12th in the 800 meters at the Wildcats home meet;
FastTrack National Invitational (2/8): Competed in the invitational section of the 800 meters and registered a time of 2:21.84.
2016: Earned All-BIG EAST honors as part of Villanova's lineup which placed second in the distance medley relay;
Jack Pyrah Invitational (12/5): Runner-up in the 1000 meters at the season-opening Pyrah meet ... Posted a time of 2:57.63 ... Also led off the 4x400 meter relay for a squad which placed fourth with a time of 4:17.01;
Villanova Open (1/8): Runner-up in the 1000 meters for the second straight face ... Posted a time of 2:55.73 which was nearly two seconds faster than what she had run earlier in the season;
Great Dane Classic (1/16): Finished third in the Mile with a time of 4:57.57;
Penn State National (1/30): Placed 20th in the invitational section of the Mile in 5:07.54;
Villanova Invitational (2/6): Finished 10th in the Mile with a season-best time of 4:55.11 and anchored a 4x400 meter relay squad which came in ninth with a time of 4:00.82;
FastTrack National Invitational (2/12): Competed in the invitational section of the 800 meters and tallied a 19th place finish with a time of 2:14.21;
BIG EAST Championships (2/26-2/27): Led off the distance medley relay on the first day of the conference meet and helped Villanova finish second in the race with a time of 11:26.12 ... Earned All-BIG EAST accolades in the relay and also competed individually in the Mile ... Tallied a ninth place finish in the Mile with a time of 5:00.39.
2021: Competed once during the season at the Wildcats home meet to kick off the outdoor season;
Villanova Opener (3/19): Ran in both the 800 meters and the 1500 meters at the outdoor season opener … Finished third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:26.94 and came in fourth in the 1500 meters in 4:56.13.
2019: Ran two races in the 1500 meters during the season;
Penn Challenge (3/23): Recorded a time of 4:43.28 and placed 12th at the outdoor season opener;
Sam Howell Invitational (4/6): Came in 11th in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:45.03.
Needham High School: Earned a total of seven varsity letters in track & field and two in cross country ... Also played freshman basketball and field hockey, and was on the varsity field hockey squad as a sophomore ... Part of a New Balance national championship in the distance medley relay as a senior ... Holds school records indoors in the 1000 meters and the Mile, as well as outdoors in the 800 meters and the Mile ... As a senior was the state Mile champion indoors with a winning time of 4:56.35 ... Was named the Bay State Conference MVP and also her team's MVP as a junior, and earned All-Bay State Conference honors both indoors and outdoors ... Was an all-conference performer in cross country as a junior and her team won state cross country titles in both her junior and senior seasons.
Personal: Born 8/15/97 in Needham, Mass. ... Oldest of three children of Mike and Meg Hughes ... Siblings are Abbey and Sam ... Mother is a 1989 graduate of Villanova ... She was a middle distance runner for the Wildcats and was part of national championship 4x800 meter relay squads in 1988 and 1989 ... Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences ... Criminology major and Political Science minor.
