Villanova Univeristy Athletics

2023: Appeared in 10 games while making eight starts.. Picked up seven ground balls and five caused turnovers, earning two ground balls and two caused turnovers against nationally ranked Maryland. 

2022: Played in six games as a junior, scoring two goals. Both scores came in a win against conference opponents Butler (4/30). Had a ground ball and caused turnover against La Salle (3/9).

2021: Did not appear in any games for Villanova as a sophomore. 

2020: The midfielder appeared in one game in her freshman season, on the road at Harvard (3/7). She recorded one ground ball against the Crimson.

Epsom Girls Grammar School: Overend competed in lacrosse, soccer and rubgy, and was on the equestrian team. She earned Best International Performance, Most Valuable Player twice and Sports Woman of the Year. She was a three time lacrosse Regional High School Champion, National New Zealand School Champion and High School College Sport. Overend was also a two time Young Sports Person of the Year finalist and two time Young Sports Person of the Year winner. Additionally, she competed on the New Zealand women’s World Cup team in England 2017 as a starting midfielder and placed 8th overall. As well as the NZU19 World Cup team in Canada 2019.

Personal: Overend is the daughter of David and Maria Huljich-Boshuer and has a brother named Dominic. In her free time, her hobbies include horse riding on her farm, playing guitar, water skiing and wake boarding. She chose Villanova because she loved the community and culture as well as the lacrosse program.
