Career: Veteran competitor for the Wildcats who has competed 24 times during her collegiate career and has been a member of the varsity eight boat in each of her four seasons on the team … Eight-time selection to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll and seven-time member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2021-22: Part of Varsity Eight boat that was named CAA Boat of the Week in back-to-back weeks, the first such honors for the program … Competed with the V8 in each event, typically at the 5-seat … Group recorded a fourth-place time of 6:46.25 at the CAA Championships … Villanova won its competition at the Mason Invitational in 6:30.5 … Part of the V8 that swept its races in the dual with UConn and Eastern Michigan, winning with times of 6:56.30 and 6:39.28, respectively … Made the Grand Final at the Knecht Cup , finishing fifth at 6:43.47 … V8 posted a second-place time of 7:26.6 in the dual with La Salle and Drexel … Raced in the Women’s Championships Eights in the Head at Schuylkill for a sixth-place 13:02.816 finish.

2020-21: Part of the Villanova lineup in the varsity eight for the entire spring season and rowed in either the 3-seat or the 7-seat during the year … After beginning the season with an exhibition against Drexel, the varsity eight squad opened competition with a first place finish in a dual against Delaware … The team recorded a time of 7:10.8 and tallied a two-second margin of victory over the Blue Hens … Helped the V8 squad win its heat by 2.1 seconds over Temple and Jefferson with a time of 6:40.3 at the Kerr Cup … Villanova came in second at George Mason in both the heats (6:44.0) and the grand final (6:47.1) … The team finished second in their heat at the Kelly Cup in 6:58.9 and qualified for the A final where they finished fourth overall in 7:02.6 … The varsity eight squad recorded a time of 6:50.47 and finished fifth at the CAA Championship.

2019-20: Competed at four regattas during the season and was part of the Wildcats varsity four and varsity eight lineups … The varsity eight squad came in eighth in the Championship Eights at the Head of the Schuylkill, placed 13th in the Collegiate 8+ final at the Navy Day Regatta and was second at the Metro Cup Regatta while competing against UCF, Duquesne and Rollins … Part of the varsity four boat (2-seat) which finished ninth in the Collegiate 4+ final at the Navy Day Regatta … Helped the second varsity eight (5-seat) come in second in the season-opening Rumson Boat Race.

2018-19: Competed eight times during her freshman campaign as part of the varsity eight and second varsity eight squads … Helped the varsity eight boat (4-seat) place fifth at the CAA Championship and fourth in the Grand Final at the Cooper Invitational … Part of the second varsity eight boat (5-seat) which qualified for the Petite Final against strong competition at the Cooper Sprints … The 2V8 team also came in second to Kansas in the Grand Final at the George Mason Invitational and placed third in the final at the Kerr Cup … Villanova’s 2V8 squad was second in competition at both the Rollins Invitational and in competition against Saint Joseph’s and Delaware … Made her collegiate debut at the Head of the Schuylkill where she was part of the College Frosh/Novice Eights team (stroke).

Club Sports: Played soccer for the Chicago International Soccer Club from 2013-18 … Helped the team win the Midwest Regional League title in 2017 and place second in the Disney Soccer Showcase the same year.

Providence Catholic High School: Earned a varsity letter playing soccer as a goalkeeper during her senior season in 2018 … Winner of the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete Award for soccer … Was the President of the National Honor Society and was named an Illinois State Scholar.

Personal: Born 4/11/2000 in Tinley Park, Ill. … One of four children of Edward and Cheri Barrett … Has a twin brother, Jack, and older twin sisters Grace and Tess (23) … Father played college football at Southern Illinois … Both sisters were also collegiate student-athletes … Grace played volleyball at Saint Mary’s College Notre Dame and Tess played soccer at Valparaiso … Hobbies include beatboxing and dancing … Chose to attend Villanova because she fell in love with the campus and the contagiously uplifting spirits among the students she met while visiting campus … Nursing major.
