Career: Transferred to Villanova from Navy before the 2020-21 season and played two years for the Wildcats … She made a big impact in a short amount of time while posting a 31-18 (.633) record during her Villanova career … Unanimous selection to the All-BIG EAST first team as a junior in 2020-21 and was named the BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week once during the Spring 2021 season … As a singles player went 18-6 (.750) for the Wildcats, including 17-5 in dual competition while playing all 22 of those matches at the top spot in the lineup … Two of her biggest career highlights came during the 2021 season … During the regular season she tallied a win in straight sets over three-time defending BIG EAST Player of the Year Jessica Livianu from St. John’s to help Villanova post a 4-3 team victory in the match … Later in the year in the semifinal round of the BIG EAST Championships she knocked off the season’s Conference Player of the Year in Aspasia Avgeri from DePaul … Ended her collegiate career with an eight-match winning streak to close out the 2022 season … Her overall collegiate records combining her Navy and Villanova careers were 49-28 (.636) in singles and 48-28 (.632) in doubles … At Villanova she was named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team in 2020-21 and was a two-time selection to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll … At Navy she was the team MVP in 2019-20 and the Team Rookie of the Year in 2018-19 … Two-time Patriot League Player of the Week and was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in 2019-20.
 
2021-22: Led the Wildcats with a sterling 12-2 (.857) record in singles matches on the season … Had a record of 4-11 in doubles competition … Her 16 total wins were a team high for the year … Ended the season with an eight-match winning streak at No. 1 singles, where she was 11-1 overall in dual competition … Her only dual loss in a singles match came against Lipscomb on March 1 and she then proceeded to reel off her eight straight wins to close out the year … Had a chance to extend the winning streak to nine in a row but had split the first two sets against Julieanne Bou from Connecticut in a BIG EAST Championships quarterfinal match when the team decision was clinched and play was halted … Her winning streak started against Belmont on March 3 and she only dropped two sets during the streak … She outlasted an opponent from Saint Joseph’s for a 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-0 win on April 5 and rallied past a foe from Georgetown in the final regular season match on April 16 to pull out a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory … Played in 12 dual doubles matches and posted a 4-8 record … She and freshman Emma Brogan teamed together eight times and were 4-4 at the No. 1 doubles spot … The pair tallied wins against Drexel, St. John’s, Loyola (Md.) and Temple.
 
2020-21: Emerged as one of the impact performers in the Villanova lineup in her first year on the team after transferring from Navy … Unanimous selection to the All-BIG EAST first team … Played exclusively in the top spot of the lineup in both singles and doubles … Her highlights for the year included a straight-sets win over three-time defending BIG EAST Player of the Year Jessica Livianu from St. John’s and knocking off this season’s conference Player of the Year, Aspasia Avgeri from DePaul, in a BIG EAST semifinal match … Had an overall record of 6-4 in singles and 9-2 in doubles during the season … Named the BIG EAST Female Athlete of the Week on April 15 after going 3-1 in both singles and doubles matches during the previous week … That stretch began with her 6-3, 6-2 win over Livianu to help the Wildcat dispatch St. John’s in a 5-2 team decision … Also was a 7-5 doubles winner against St. John’s … Tallied singles wins in straight sets over Providence and Connecticut, the latter a pivotal point in a 4-3 team victory, leading up to the BIG EAST weekly honor … Won both of her singles matches during the BIG EAST Championships, beating Kate Krueger from Creighton (6-0, 6-4) in the quarterfinals and Avgeri (6-2, 6-4) for the lone Villanova point in the semifinals … Most frequently paired with senior Lexi DeNucci in doubles competition … The tandem went 8-2, all in the No. 1 doubles spot, on the year … Their wins included a 6-1 decision over Creighton in the BIG EAST quarterfinals and regular season wins over BIG EAST opponents from St. John’s, Providence and Georgetown.
 
In two seasons at Navy and her one year with the Wildcats, Klopfer owns career collegiate records of 37-26 (.587) in singles matches and a mark of 44-18 (.710) in doubles.
 
Navy: Competed for the Midshipmen as a freshman and a sophomore … Named the team’s Rookie of the Year in 2018-19 and the Most Valuable Player in 2019-20 … As a freshman tallied a 23-6 mark in doubles action to come within one victory of tying the single-season program record … Also went 16-10 in singles competition during the 2018-19 campaign … Began the 2020 spring season with 10 consecutive victories … Finished the 2019-20 campaign with an overall record of 15-12 in singles and 12-10 in doubles … Her overall records in two years at Navy were 31-22 (.585) in singles and 35-16 (.686) in doubles.
