Kaysie Stuba

Kaysie Stuba joins the Villanova Water Polo staff as of September 2023. She rejoins the Wildcats after her decorated career came to a close in 2022. Stuba is currently second in all time points with 377, third in all time goals with 259, and fourth in all time assists with 118.

Stuba's first year as a coach was a massive success as the Wildcats won 21 games and broke numerous records along the way. Assisting in all aspects of the program, Stuba excelled in making key substitutions that led to success in pressure situations.

Her senior season in 2022 was historic. She set two program records for goals in a season (100) and points in a season (151) while leading the Wildcats to their now third most wins in program history (20). Stuba is a former ACWPC All American honorable mention, three-time MAAC All Conference honoree, MAAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week, MAAC Rookie of the Week, four-time ACWPC All- Academic All American, and three-time MAAC All-Academic Team.

Stuba graduated from Villanova with degrees in secondary education and mathmatics. She spent her first year out of college playing professionally in Portugal for SL Benfica where her team captured the Portuguese National Title, The Portuguese Cup and Portuguese Super Cup.

Alongside coaching she is a certified teacher in Pennsylvania, Illinois and North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking her dogs, and thrifting.

Stuba currently resides in Manayunk, Pa.
