Ana Aguado

Ana Aguado serves as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Villanova University, a position she assumed in June 2026. In her role with Villanova Athletics Sports Medicine, she provides comprehensive health care services for the Wildcats' Women's Soccer and Cheer programs.

Prior to joining Villanova, Aguado served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Purdue University Fort Wayne from 2023 to 2026. While at Purdue Fort Wayne, she was responsible for the healthcare management of the Men's Soccer, Men's Volleyball, and Softball programs.

Aguado earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2021 and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 2023. A former collegiate student-athlete, she competed as a goalkeeper on the Women's Soccer teams at both institutions.

Her professional interests include injury prevention, manual therapy, and evidence-based approaches to optimizing athlete health and performance. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Aguado is committed to providing holistic, student-athlete-centered care.

Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Aguado has also volunteered at both the Marine Corps Marathon and the Athens Marathon, further reflecting her passion for sports medicine and athletic participation.
