Steve Pinone

Steve Pinone serves as the Senior Director of Advancement for Men's Basketball, a position he's served in since 2008. In this role, Pinone also functions as the Villanova Athletic Fund's point person for men's and women's swimming & diving, volleyball and water polo in addition to men's basketball.

Pinone also serves as a broadcaster for Villanova football, men's and women's basketball and other Olympic sports, as well as co-hosting the Mark Ferrante Radio Show.

Prior to his current position, Pinone worked as the Block V Club Coordinator of Special Events where he started in 2001. 

Pinone began his career as a basketball coach with a graduate assistantship at Villanova before becoming a volunteer assistant under Rollie Massimino. He then spent nine months as an assistant at Manhattan, but returned to his alma mater in 1992. In 2000, Pinone was promoted to associate head coach.

Pinone earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Villanova in 1987 and was a member of the 1985 NCAA Championship team, then completed a Master's degree in Secondary Education in 1989.

Pinone resides in Royersford, Pa., with his wife Sharon and has two children, former men's basketball manager Stephen (Villanova '19) and VU baseball alum Matt (Villanova '22).
