BOZEMAN, MT. ? Despite numerous obstacles on their trip out to Montana, the Wildcats earned their second straight victory, beating New Orleans in three straight games, 15-13, 15-11, 15-6.
Villanova (2-4) was in control for the majority of the match and was only behind four times all afternoon in the three game sweep of the Pirates. Setter Stacey Moline had another fantastic showing, as she handed out 33 assists. Breen Eddinger recorded a game-high 14 kills and freshman standout Leah Mathews notched 13 digs.
As for New Orleans, who dropped to 3-3, Jessica Perdue tallied 10 kills and Christy Levy had 18 digs in the loss.
