Hi again from Sydney, Australia,
I have represented my country before in competions but nothing will ever compare to what it felt like here in Sydney. Americans have such a sense of pride and love for their country and I love to be a part of it all! When you are an athlete and you say that you are from the United States, people automatically have a respect for you. That is the most awesome feeling.
There have been so many great moments during the past week: watching the opening ceremonies, seeing Misty Hyman win the 200m fly and Gary and Anthony tie for first in the 50m free. Oh yeh, and appearing with the team on the Today Show!
The village is awesome. We are having a great time together, getting to know each other. More later from Sydney.
