Steve Pinone '87 '89 joined the Block V Club in June, 2001. Pinone is responsible for identification, cultivation, and solicitation of prospective donors.
Before assuming his position with the Block V Club, Pinone was the Associate Head Men's Basketball Coach under Steve Lappas. His primary responsibility was working with the perimeter players. As a result, Villanova remained one of most prolific 3-point shooting teams in the Big East. Pinone was also an assistant coach for the Wildcat teams which won the 1994 National Invitation Tournament and the 1995 Big East Tournament.
Pinone graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor's Degree in economics, and earned his Master's degree in Secondary Education in 1989. A member of the 1985 NCAA championship squad, Pinone began his coaching career following his graduation from Villanova in 1987.
Steve and his wife Sharon reside in Royersford, PA. They have two sons, Stephen and Matthew.
