VILLANOVA, PA. - Villanova University Director of Athletics Vince Nicastro announced Thursday evening that Villanova's Atlantic 10 Conference football game scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 15 with The College of William & Mary has been postponed. There has been no decision at this time on a possible make-up date for the game.

The decision to postpone the game was reached during a teleconference amongst conference officials and Athletic Directors Thursday evening.

"The Atlantic 10 Athletic Directors and conference officials revisited the issue and felt it was best to postpone the game," said Villanova University Director of Athletics Vince Nicastro. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families of this tragic event."

In addition, Villanova has decided to postpone all of its athletic events through this weekend. No makeup dates have been announced.
