WASHINGTON, D.C-Not settling for another tie, especially in a BIG EAST game, the Villanova men's soccer team edged out the Georgetown Hoyas, 2-1, Saturday afternoon at North Kehoe field. With the win, the Wildcats improve to 6-3-4/4-2-2 on the season, while Georgetown falls to 8-6/5-3.

The Wildcats held their 2-1 lead throughout the second half thanks to a solid performance from junior goalkeeper Craig Bald (Edgewater, Md./South River), who totaled 12 saves on the afternoon.

'Nova returns to action on Saturday, October 23, when they head to Morgantown, W.Va for another conference matchup against the West Virginia Mountaineers. Gane time is 7:00 PM
