SOUTH ORANGE, N.J-The Villanova Swimming & Diving teams traveled to Seton Hall University on Tuesday, October 26 for a dual meet with the Pirates. The Wildcat women emerged 154-87 victors, while the men fell by a score of 150-82.

Sophomore Annie Kelley (Newton, Mass./Newton North) posted first place finishes in the 200-yard IM (2:06.88) and the 200-yard butterfly (2:05.75) while senior Tori Delollo (Lathum, N.Y./Loudonville Christian) edged out seven other swimmers in the 50-yard free for a time of 24.82 and a first place finish. Delollo also came away with first place in the 200-yard backstroke (2:07.31).

Other first place finishes for the women included freshman Jesse Radtke (Willouhby, Ohio/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) who placed first in the 100- and 200-yard freestyle (53.65, 1:57.13), sophomore Jenny Sommerville (Hillsdale, Ind./Terre Haute North Vigo) in the 500- and 1000-yard freestyle (5:06.04, 10:17.90), and freshman Caitlin Regan (Bensalem, Pa./Germantown Academy) in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.53)

In diving, freshman Tammy Franks (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) finished fourth in the one-meter event, while freshman Joe Traks (Riverdale, N.J./Pascack Valley) finished second for the men in that event. Senior Maggie Smith (Yorktown, N.Y./Yorktown) finished second in the three-meter diving event, while Traks again posted a second place finish.

On the men's side, freshman Joe Mechak (Rockville, Md./Magruder) placed second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:00.62), while sophomore Ryan McKenna (Armonk, N.Y./Byram Hills) took second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:04.41) and senior Bryan Rivera (Catano, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Ignacio) came away with second place in the 500-yard freestyle (4:54.80).

The swimming & diving teams next head to Storrs, Conn. to take on the Huskies of Connecticut on Saturday, October 30. The meet starts at 1:00 PM.
