Villanova Football Program Adds 13 Recruits for 2004 Season

VILLANOVA, PA. - Villanova head football coach Andy Talley today announced the commitment of 13 student-athletes set to enroll in the fall and join the Wildcat program for the 2004 season. The talented class includes seven players who received All-State accolades and two Big 33 nominees.

Eight members of the Class of 2008 hail from Pennsylvania, while three are from New Jersey and two from Florida. Seven of the players are linemen, four are defensive backs and two are wide receivers.

Villanova completed a 7-4 season in 2003 and returns 16 starters from a team that finished the season ranked No. 25 in the country.
