VILLANOVA, PA. - Due to wet field conditions stemming from this week's winter storms, the Villanova softball doubleheader scheduled for Saturday against Quinnipiac has been cancelled. No make-up date has been announced.

Villanova, 8-11 on the year, is slated to return to action on Saturday, March 27. The Wildcats will open Big East conference play with a doubleheader against Providence at 12:00 p.m. at the Villanova Softball Field.
