VILLANOVA, PA. - Villanova's Tuesday doubleheader against local rival Penn at the Villanova Softball Field has been postponed due to rain. No make-up date has been announced.

The postponement comes one day after a doubleheader against Quinnipiac was cancelled. The match up with the Bobcats was being made up from a previous rain out. In addition, the second game of 'Nova's doubleheader with Drexel last Thursday was cut short due to rain.

The 'Cats are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, Apr. 14 against Lehigh at 3:00 p.m. at the Villanova Softball Field.

The Wildcats, coming off a Big East doubleheader split with Rutgers, are 18-13 on the season, and stand in first place with a 7-1 league record.
