VILLANOVA, Pa. - Villanova University senior forward Jackie Adamshick became the 19th player in the program's history to score 1,000 career points. Adamshick accomplished the feat on a free throw at the 9:58 mark of the first half in Sunday's 68-63 loss at Delaware. After her 22-point performance in the game, Adamshick currently has 1,014 career points.

Adamshick is currently in her third year as a starter for the Wildcats. As a sophomore in 2004-05, she led the team in both scoring (13.2 ppg.) and rebounding (5.8 rpg.). For her efforts that season, she was named second team All-Big East Conference. Last year, Adamshick averaged 10.7 points per game and a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game.

A native of Allentown, Pa., Adamshick is 2002 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.
