VICTORIA, British Columbia – Villanova junior guard
Jasmine Bascoe is one of 17 players announced to Canada's Senior Women's National Team Training Camp Roster, as announced by Canada Basketball last week.
The camp takes place July 18-25 in Victoria, British Columbia as the team continues preparations for the FIBA Women's Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament 2026 in Guadalajara, Mexico. This is Bascoe's second time this summer training with the national team as the Milton, Ontario native was also named to the training camp roster in Montreal in late June.
After completing its Victoria training camp, Canada will compete at the FIBA Women's Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament 2026 in Guadalajara, Mexico, from Aug. 17-23. The tournament serves as the opening stage of the Road to LA 2028, with the winner earning a spot in the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments in March 2028.
