RICHMOND, Va. - Villanova senior place kicker Joe Marcoux (Campbell Hall, N.Y.) has been named Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts last Saturday in a 33-14 win over Lehigh.

Marcoux accounted for 15 of Villanova's 33 points by connecting on a career-high four field goals in four attempts, including two from 44-yards out. The two 44-yard efforts represent career-longs for Marcoux. His other two made field goals came from 23 and 22 yards. Marcoux was also a perfect three-of-three in PATs.

The 1-1 Wildcats will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 20 when they travel to Penn for the final non conference game of the season. Kickoff at Franklin Field is set for 3:30 p.m. The game can be seen live in the Philadelphia area on CN8.
