Reynolds Earns Three Player of the Week Awards

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Scottie Reynolds' incredible week was honored on Monday when he was named player of the week by the BIG EAST Conference, Philadelphia Big Five and the ECAC. This marked Reynolds' second BIG EAST player of the week honor this season and the third of his career.

Reynolds averaged 31.5 points and shot 68.0 percent from the field in Villanova's 2-0 week, extending the Wildcats' winning streak to seven games. He scored 36 points on 9-of-10 shooting, including 30 points after halftime, in a 92-84 win at Louisville and had 27 points in an 82-77 win against Georgetown. Reynolds, who has scored at least 20 points in eight of his last 10 games, ranks fourth in the BIG EAST in scoring at 19.3 points per game.

The 6-2 senior from Herndon, Va., has averaged 23 ppg in his last 10 games.

Reynolds and Villanova will face Rutgers on Wednesday evening in Piscataway, N.J.(8:00 p.m./My 17/ESPN 950).
