Wildcats Fall to Delaware, 7-0

ELKTON, Md. - The Villanova men's tennis team dropped a hard-fought battle to Delaware on Saturday, falling 7-0 in Elkton, Md.

The highlight of the day came in the first doubles flight when freshman Thomas O'Brien (Guilford, Conn./Fairfield Prep) and senior Trenton Alenik (Las Vegas, Nev./Odyssey Charter) defeated Delaware's Courtney Scott and Chris Hincker 9-8 (7-4) for the lone win on the day.

The team will resume play over spring break when they travel to southern California to compete in the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship in La Jolla, Calif., and take on UC San Diego and Point Loma Nazarene in San Diego.
