VILLANOVA, Pa. - The Villanova water polo team posted a solid 13-6 victory over Connecticut College on Thursday evening, hosting their first home match of the season.
Freshman McKenna Hinkle (San Clemente, Calif.) led the team with three goals while Maria Campanile (Burr Ridge, Ill.), Elizabeth Clarke (Winnetka, Ill.) and Julia Penkal (Harleysville, Pa.) added two goals apiece. Freshman Sam Goff (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) tallied six saves in the victory.
Nicole Lum (Roseville, Calif.), Sarah Tennis (Coto De Caza, Calif.) and Kristy Majetich (Perkasie, Pa.) each contributed two steals in the win, while Sarah Armel (Houston, Texas) and Majetich combined for four assists on the evening.
The Wildcats will be back in action at the George Washington Tournament in Washington, D.C. on March 26th and 27th.
