  • Senior running back Kevin Monangai also ran for over 100 yards in the game, finishing with 19 carries for 101 yards. He registered the 11th career 100-yard rushing game of his career, which is tied for the third most in school history. Monangai has three games with over 100 yards this season.
  • Villanova finished the regular season with a 6-0 record at home and a +25.0 scoring margin in those games. That includes the Wildcats scoring at least 40 points in all six home games.

  • Junior linebacker Don Cherry had six tackles in the game and now has 102 tackles this season. He is the first Wildcats player to reach triple digits since Marquis Kirkland had 104 tackles in 2010.
  • Sophomore cornerback Jason Ceneus registered the first two fumble recoveries of his career in the game. He is the first Villanova player with two fumble recoveries in a game since Craig James achieved the feat at Massachusetts on November 5, 2011. Only five Wildcats players in the past 12 seasons have had multiple fumble recoveries in a game.
  • Villanova recovered two fumbles in the game and also lost a fumble of its own. The Wildcats have a plus-eight turnover margin for the season.
