Nov. 17, 2014 RICHMOND, VA. - Villanova University junior quarterback John Robertson (Paramus, N.J.) has been named the CAA Football Offensive Player of the Week. Robertson earns the award for his efforts in last week's 48-31 win over the Albany Great Danes. This marks the sixth time this season that he has been the league's offensive player of the week.
In the victory, Robertson completed 15-of-21 for 225 yards and two scores, to go with 22 carries for 168 yards and three touchdowns. The 393 yards of total offense represents a season-high.
After 11 games, Robertson has completed 175-of-257 (68.1%) for 2,412 yards to go with 31 touchdowns and two interceptions. He also has 186 carries for 861 yards and nine scores.
Robertson and the Wildcats conclude the 2014 regular season this Saturday with a game at Delaware. Kickoff is set for noon at Delaware Stadium.
