Villanova head coach Jay Wright Opening Statement

"We're really happy with our effort tonight. Real good defensive effort, espically on Jordan (Price). If you put to much emphasis on stopping Jordan Price, you know he can go for 40 and then he gets everybody else going and you could be in trouble. I thought Phil Booth did a real good job on him. It was one of our best rebounding games too so that was a good game for us.

Wright on the difference between this game and against Oklahoma

"It was really really attention to detail and the little things. I know everybody sees 4-for-32 but that was the least of it. It was really all of the other little things that we didn't do to make up for the 4-for-32. Maybe we don't win that game but we're in it until the end if we do the little things. I think our guys learned a lesson from that."

"We are a work in progress. Last year at this time we were starting five guys that had started a lot of games and at this point in the year we were a well oiled machine. This group is not but we have a chance to get a lot better and we're learning. I was pleased with what we took from the Oklahoma game and how we played tonight."

Wright on Arcidiacono's development coiming into this season

"He always does what our team needs. His freshman year we needed him to score and run the show so he did it. Last year we needed him to run the show a little more and he did it. This year its nice that we can have Jalen (Brunson) with the ball in his hand and we can allow Ryan to score and make decisions. That's probably where he is most comfortable but he'll always do what we ask him to do."

Ryan Arcidiacono on bouncing back after a loss

"We didnt play the wat we usually play out in Hawaii. It was a great trip besides that but we had a couple great practices this week, getting back to what we do, playing hard, playing defense. It was good to get back out on the court and execute."

"As a team we do a good job responding. I think we did a good job getting back to the scouting report and focusing on the next game and we were focused on La Salle tonight and the past three days. I think we executed what we wanted to do."

Josh Hart on matching up with La Salle's Jordan Price

"We didn't do anything in particular. I think a lot of that was our guys off the ball. They had our back and were talking to us. When you have that you have the confidence to play as hard as you can. You're not worried about making a mistake because the next guy has your back. Nothing in particular, just playing Villanova defense.
