VILLANOVA, Pa. ââ'¬" Further evaluation of the right foot injury suffered by Villanova freshman guard Donte DiVincenzo (Wilmington, Del.) has revealed a fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone. The injury is expected to sideline DiVincenzo for 4-6 weeks.

"We're disappointed for Donte," stated Villanova head coach Jay Wright. "He has made such great progress as a freshman and we were counting on him to make a big contribution. Donte will work hard to get back and I know he will be better because of this."

DiVincenzo appeared in the Wildcats' first eight games of 2015-16, averaging 9.3 minutes and 1.9 points per game. This injury kept him out of last Sunday's 76-47 victory over La Salle at the Pavilion.

The No. 12/13 Wildcats visit No. 8/9 Virginia Saturday at noon (ESPN2/610 Sports Radio WTEL).
