ITHACA, N.Y. - The Villanova men' swimming team finished in fourth place at the 2015 BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Championships from Ithaca College with a total of 416 points. Xavier won the conference championships with 904 points followed by Georgetown (763) and Seton Hall (690). Providence came in fifth with 220 points.

Senior Jason Moyer finished fifth in the 100 freestyle on Saturday evening, touching the wall at 46.55. Fellow senior Chris Tamanini came in eighth at 47.41.

The Wildcat men came in fourth in the 400 freestyle relay behind freshman Joe Moleski, Tamanini, sophomore Mike Rodriguez and Moyer with a final time of 3:06.03. The Wildcats finished fourth in the 800 freestyle, 200 medley and 400 medley relays.

In the 1650 freestyle, sophomore Harrison Rodts led the Wildcats with a time of 16:23.06, good for 11th place. Sophomore Greg Cino came in right after Rodts at 16:24.22.

Junior Nikolai Tchobanov finished sixth in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:55.82.

Freshman Tyler Nussbaum owned the top Wildcat time in the 200 breaststroke, touching the wall at 2:07.40 in the B Final for 10th place overall.
