CORAL GABLES, Fla.--A dominant performance in the 800 meters and a second straight school record in the 4x100 meter relay highlighted an exciting day of competition for Villanova, which competed in the Hurricane Alumni Invitational at Cobb Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Schappert, junior Angel Piccirillo (Homer City, Pa.) and freshman Siofra Cleirigh Buttner (Dublin, Ireland) combined for a 1-2-3 finish in the 800 meters. Schappert crossed the finish line in 2:05.22 and cut more than a full second off her previous top time in the event.
