PRINCETON, N.J. - On the first night of competition at the Princeton Open, freshman middle distance runner Nicole Armstrong (Sydenham, Ont.) competed for Villanova in the 800 meters. Armstrong registered a time of 2:14.50 in the Elite section of the 800 meters and finished 11th out of 19 runners in the field. She was the lone Wildcats athlete competing at Weaver Stadium on Friday evening, with the bulk of the events at the meet scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
