NEW YORK, N.Y. - Villanova seniors John Moderski and Johnny Gallaway have been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for their performance in a 12-8 win at Bucknell last week. The honors mark the first for the pair this season as the Wildcats have jumped out to a 5-1 start on the year.

Gallaway helped lead Villanova to their fifth straight win with a season-high three goals in his first start of the season. He recorded a perfect 1.000 shot on goal percentage for the afternoon to help pave the way to a 12-8 win.

Moderski picked up a career-high eight ground balls and caused one turnover in the strong defensive effort against the Bison. The senior defenseman aided a Villanova backfield that caused 12 Bucknell turnovers for the win.

Villanova will be back in action on Saturday, March 26th when they take on Fairfield. Game time is slated for 1 p.m. in Villanova Stadium.
