Villanova hosts Providence and #10 Creighton this weekend

VILLANOVA, Pa. – The women's volleyball team returns home to Jake Nevin Field House after being on the road for the past two weeks. The Wildcats will square off against the Providence Friars on Friday night and then against No. 10 Creighton on Saturday night.

The start time for both games is at 7:00 p.m. and the matches will be live streamed online and fans can follow along with live stats.

The Wildcats enter the weekend with a record of 10-9 and 3-4 in BIG EAST matches. Villanova is currently fifth in the BIG EAST. The Wildcats lead the conference in digs per set with 18.12.

The Friars come to Jake Nevin Field House with a record of 10-9 and are 1-5 in conference matches. Providence is ninth in the BIG EAST with their only conference win against DePaul. Last season the two teams split their two meetings with each team defending their homecourt.

The Bluejays have a record of 14-4 and 6-0 in the BIG EAST. They are the only unbeaten team in the BIG EAST. Last year Villanova went 1-2 against Creighton including a 3-0 win over the No. 13 Bluejays at Jake Nevin Field House.
