Head Coach
Chris McLain stated, "This was a great win today. A great win for the current season but also great win for the program and Villanova University. We focused in preparation on being more consistent with every small detail. Today the small details clicked and we played 22 players and they all contributed in the victory. So you can imagine this was a special day for us."
A

Molina leads the team in assists with six and Barbour trails her by just one sitting at five.
Seton Hall got on the board in the 75
thminute, but it was too little too late.
Assistant Coach
Daniel Clitnovici stated, "We are happy with the final result today. We knew it was going to be a tough game against an opponent who was hungry for a win. We spent the week focusing ourselves to make sure we continued to elevate our play from game to game. Today we got better. Really proud of the players and all staff today. It was a solid team and program win."
Goalkeeper
Hensley Hancuff picked up the win playing just under 81 minutes for the Wildcats. She improved her GAA to 1.07 and her save percentage to .791 in her freshman campaign.
This is the first time Villanova has won nine games in a single season since our current freshmen were in second grade (2009). Also, the last time the Wildcats have won three straight BIG EAST games was over a decade ago.
