Women's Soccer Announces Class of 2022

Villanova, Pa.- Following his first season at the helm of the women's soccer program, Villanova head coach Chris McLain has announced the signing of 13 National Letters of Intent for the 2018 season.

Set to join the Wildcats in the Class of 2022 are Tori Alfero (Plantation, Fl.), Tori Belcuore (Livingston, N.J.), Allison Breed (Boca Raton, Fl.), Avery Cotter (Collegeville, Pa.), Erin MacDonald (Plymouth, MI), Jill Mapley (East Moriches, N.Y.) Kerri McGuire (Rutherford, N.J.), Niki Molina (Miami, Fl.), Tori Muller (Wyckoff, NJ), Chloe O'Neill (Plantation, Fl.), Sierra Rincon (Naples, Fl.), Reagan Smith (Cunning, GA), Shaye Seyffart (Ringoes, N.J.).

Tori Alfero, Defense, Plantation, Fl, American Heritage School, Sunrise Sting Black

Team and ODP Experience: Member of the Sunrise Sting Black club team for seven years...Two time Florida State Champion (2015,2016)...Finalist Disney College Showcase Champion (2017, 2016, 2015), Finalist 2017 CASL Showcase Champion (2017, 2016, 2015) Southern Region 3 Premier League.

Tori Belcuore, Midfield, Livingston, N.J., Livingston High School, SDFC and PSA

Team and ODP Experience: Member of the SDFC club team from 2010-17 and played one year for PSA from 2017-18...PSA, National League and Eastern Regional League...Accepted to compete in US Youth Soccer National Championships, July 2018...SDFC, served as a team captain all seven years...Participated in National League (2016, 2017) and Eastern Regional League (2017)...2015 NJYS State Cup Champion...US Youth Soccer Top 15 Players to Watch (2016).

Oxbridge Academy: Earned four varsity letters and was named an Embark All-American in 2017...Scored 97 goals and had 34 assists during her four year high school career... Gabriel Richard: Earned four varsity letters in basketball...Named to All-League (2017) and All-Catholic (2018) teams...Member of the National Honor Society... Scholastic All-Catholic Award recipient.

Team and ODP: Member of Sunrise Sting for two years and Pinecrest Premier for eight...Top 10 Player at Top Drawer Disney Showcase.

Lourdes Academy: Earned four varsity letters...Was a Class 5A Girls Varsity Soccer State Champion and Athlete of the Year in 2018...Three time First Team All-Dade...Member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, English Honor Society, and Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society.

Team and ODP: Member of New York City FC Development Academy (2017-18) and sent the previous four years with World Class FC ENCL.

Ramapo/Immaculate Heart Academy: Earned four total varsity letters...During her freshman and sophomore season at Immaculate Heart they were back-to-back Non-Public A NJ State Champions...In 2014 they went undefeated and were Bergen County Champions...Also ranked #1 nationally by NSCAA.

Personal: Born January 23, 2000 in Hackensack, N.J. to Tim and Shauna Muller...Has one younger sibling, Brady...Father played basketball at Villanova and mom rowed...Chose Villanova for the feeling of home here. "There is a positive attitude throughout the entire community that is contagious."

Chloe O'Neil, Forward, Plantation, Fl., St. Thomas Aquinas, Sunrise Sting

St. Thomas Aquinas: Earned four varsity letters and was named a Esmark All-American...Scored 101 goals and had 60 assists...Named Player of the Year for the Sun-sentinel (2017) and All-Miami Herald First Team (2015, 2016, 2017)...Earned First Honor Roll all four years.

Personal: Born December 24, 1999 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Joseph and Ione O'Neil...Has two siblings, Joseph and Inez...Enjoys surfing...Chose Villanova because of how great of a university it is. Team and ODP: Member of the Tophat SC and went to the ECNL National Semifinals (2016-17)...For two years played for GA ODP...ODP National Training in 2015 along with '99 ODP Reg 3 Team and ODP Thanksgiving Interregional event.

South Forsyth: Earned varsity letters and helped lead the team to the playoff semi-finals in 2017...Advanced to the second round of playoffs in 2015 and 2016...Named to Forsyth All-County Team (2016, 2017) and All-Region Team (2017)...Earned Midfielder of the Year (2016, 2017)...Member of the National Honor Society and Honor Student.

Shaye Seyffart, Midfield, Ringoes, N.J., Hunterdon Central Regional, PDA Sky Blue Development Academy

Team and ODP: Member of the PDA Sky Blue Development Academy U18/19 which is currently ranked ninth in the country in this age group...Previously a member of PDA ECNL Gunners U17 and U16 as well as FC Bucks Fusion ECNL U14, U15... US Soccer Federation National Training Center Invitee/Attendee (2014, 2015).

Hunterdon Central Regional: Earned three varsity letters and helped the team to a HCRHS Girls Soccer Group 4 State Champions in 2016... Three time HCRHS Girls Soccer Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Tri-County Champions Also named to All-State Team, All-Group 4 Team, All Skylands Conference Team, and Hunterdon County All Area Team (2016)...Earned All-Conference Team honors (2015) and a State Finalist (2014).

The current players we have, the addition of Hensley Handcuff (US U18 Women's National Team), Kristen Vinciquerra (UCONN transfer) and Ciara Terabasso (Rutgers transfer), along with these 13 special freshman surely set the tone for what we want Villanova's brand to look like."
