The Villanova Wildcats moved up to No. 10 in both the STATS FCS Top 25 and the AFCA FCS Coaches poll. Both polls were released on Monday afternoon.

Villanova is coming off a 31-9 road win at Lehigh which improved the Wildcats to 2-0 on the young season. The Wildcats tallied a 19-17 win at FBS member Temple in the season opener.

In the STATS Top 25, Villanova is one of six CAA teams ranked in this week's poll. James Madison leads the way at No. 2 followed by Villanova at No. 10, Elon at No. 14, Maine at No. 17, Stony Brook at No. 24 and Rhode Island at No. 25.

The Wildcats return to action this Saturday when Towson visits Villanova Stadium for both the CAA and home opener. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
