Water Polo Announces 2020 Schedule

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Head Coach Larry Sanders has announced the 2020 Water Polo schedule.

The Wildcats will start the season with the Harvard 1 Day Tournament on January 25th. They will take on host Harvard at 9:00 A.M. before a contest with Brown at 1:30 P.M. Villanova will then return home for the Villanova 1 Day Tournament where they will play at 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Opponents are TBD and will be available at a later date.

Villanova then hits the road again for tournaments at UCSD on February 8th-9th and at Indiana University on February 15th-16th. They also will compete at the Marist 1 Day Tournament on February 22nd. 

They will get a brief break from tournament play on February 28th when they take on Princeton on the road, but will travel west for the Convergence Tournament (March 6th-7th) and the SDSU Tournament (March 14th-15th).

Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play opens on March 21st against Siena, one of four home MAAC contests. The Wildcats also host Marist on March 27th, St. Francis on March 28th and La Salle on April 18th. They will also take on LIU for a non-conference match at home on March 29th

Villanova closes out the regular season with road contests against Iona (April 4th), Wagner (April 5th) and VMI (April 11th). 

MAAC Championships will take place at Marist from April 25th-26th.

Villanova will also be hosting an Alumni Game on January 18th with the game time TBD.
