Swim and Dive Head to Penn for Third Meet

VILLANOVA, P.A. - Once again, Villanova's swimming and diving teams will be heading into a competition the week after having some time off. The previous instance came in the Wildcats' last meet against Georgetown, one that was split with the Hoyas at home. In this installment, Villanova will be looking to pick up wins on the road as they take on Penn on Nov. 15 at 5:00 p.m.

A year ago, Villanova hosted the Quakers with the women coming away with a 171-123 victory, and the men falling 171-120. In total, the Wildcats had 50 top-three finishes, 30 of those coming on the women's side.

Milly Routledge, Rayann Jaryszak, Bridie Dunn, Nicole Welch and Kelly Montesi are all returners that secured first-place finishes in the meet a year ago, while Stephen Krecsmar, Michael Perra and Jackson Kabas return for the men.

Both of Penn's teams are looking for their first results of the season, having dropped their first contests against Columbia.

The matchup with the Quakers is the first of four straight meets on the road. Following the competition against Penn, Villanova travels to West Virginia for the Mountaineer Invitational before heading to La Salle and then Princeton. The Wildcats next home meet comes on Jan. 11 when the men's team hosts Providence.
